Rabo Sustainable Innovation Award 2023

Events / By MantiSpectra

🌱 Thrilled to announce that MantiSpectra won the Rabo Sustainable Innovation Award 2023 in the Food Transition category! 🏆

This recognition highlights our commitment to building a sustainable future. Our technology has the power to reduce food waste and contribute to a more sustainable world. 🌍

At MantiSpectra, we harness the potential of spectral sensing to revolutionize industries and enable informed decisions about food quality and freshness. By accurately assessing food condition, we can minimize waste and optimize resource utilization throughout the supply chain. 🍃

We also had the fantastic opportunity to discuss our innovation in a live television interview with RTL Z. A huge thanks to the Jury and Rabobank for this honor.

Hannover Messe Award 2023

Events / By MantiSpectra

We won the Hermes Startup award 2023!

This award was presented to us at the Hannover Messe Opening Ceremony, the largest industrial conference in the world. We received the award in the presence of the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz and the President of Indonesia H.E. Joko Widodo. It’s the most prestigious industrial award, like winning an Oscar!

What a great moment for photonics! From labs to everywhere.

CES

CES 2023

Events / By MantiSpectra

In the beginning of this year MantiSpectra was an exhibitor at CES in Las Vegas.

It has been a blast at the Dutch Pavilion! We met hundreds of companies at our booth, and the coming weeks will be quite busy as we nurture these new relationships.

We are on our mission to bring NIR spectroscopy to the masses and it’s great to see the enthusiasm and excitement of so many people ready to embrace the spectral revolution.

SPOT ON Magazine

A great article in the SPOT ON magazine of the EHIC looking back at January 2022: the month our COO Kaylee Hakkel defended her PhD, and when our article in Nature Communications was published! It describes the development of the spectral sensors that are now at the core of MantiSpectra’s technology.

Holiday Wishes!

As the holiday season approaches, we wanted to take a moment to wish you and your loved ones a great winter break! We hope that this time is filled with joy, love, and all the things that make the holiday season special for you.

As we look back on the past year, we are truly grateful to have met all of you, with a special thanks to the wonderful customers, early adopters, and partners ready to embrace a new technology that is going to change how we sense the world around us.

And it’s great to see your enthusiasm:
once you receive our SpectraPod, after each measurement, and the moment of suspense before getting the prediction result. It’s magic.

We built all of this for you! And this is only the start. You are all pioneers. We are on a mission to democratize near-infrared Spectroscopy, to enable everybody to see the invisible world around us.

Now, a final quiz, before the end of the year:
How many microprocessors are used today? And how many spectral sensors will be used in the 2030s?

Have a great 2023!

Last week our CTO Francesco Pagliano and COO Kaylee Hakkel participated in the Dutch mission to Helsinki. It was a very inspiring week with big events like the Dutch 4TU Impact Challenge, Slush and a lot of new contacts!

Thanks to the 4TU.FederationRijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO)The Gate and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Finland for the great organization and the support!

US Trip

What a great start today in San Francisco to kick off our US trip with ScaleNL: exploring the city of rebels, tech giants, VCs and Data.

We have beeing inspired by founders, VCs, academics.
It is not surpising to see that these elements are interconnected.

Data is driving innovation, a gigantic collection of information smashed together to understand the world around us.

And then there is our tiny sensor, ChipSense, that with her kilobytes data stream has the power to make sense of the physical world around us.

It’s a matter of time and it’s a promise: spectral sensing will be a fundamental layer of data that will be as universal as gps is today, and guide our choices in our everyday life.

And we are here to meet the rebels that will be part of this revolution.
